Dotsie, Daisie & Colten {Reinhart Volunteer Park}

I met up with Dotsie & her kiddos on a beautiful Saturday morning at Reinhart!

It was a bit chilly but otherwise it was a perfect morning for pictures!!

I had SO much fun getting to know this adorable family -

Daisie had me laughing the whole time and Colten was such a happy baby!

As we walked upon the bridge we noticed these beautiful spider webs all along the bridge-

the morning dew and the sunshine gave me the perfect photo op!

Thank you, Dotsie! I had such a wonderful time with you and your beautiful kiddos!!

Beautiful Del Rio Vineyards

Several weeks ago my work held an event at Del Rio Vineyards & Winery!

I've been dubbed the Club Photographer, so of course, I had the camera with me!

It was a beautiful warm summer evening and the Vineyard was absolutely gorgeous!!

Ahh, what a gorgeous place! I distinctly remember saying that this Vineyard
was one of the most romantic places I have ever been -
which is a HUGE compliment because I have been to Europe ;)

... Sweet Axel ... {3 Month Pics}

Meet Axel. Super handsome baby boy and definite future heart-breaker!

As you can see, this little guy has an adorable little smile and I had such a great
time hanging out with him and trying to get these sweet smiles to come out!!

These next few pictures that you will see were very intentionally taken.

They may look like pictures of a sweet boy with a snuggly teddy bear,

but the teddy bear is a very real and very tender representation of Axel's twin brother, Owen,

who passed away near the end of the second trimester. This portion of the session

was very emotional and I did my best to capture the essence of Owen's sweet spirit.

On a more personal note, it has been well over a year since I have had
a session with a baby (or any contact with a baby for that matter)
and I had so much fun interacting and snuggling with this sweet boy!

Photography is so therapeutic for me and it definitely has it's perks!!

Mike & Colleen's Big Day!! {River Vista Wedding}

"Now join your hands, and with your hands your hearts." -William Shakespeare 

What an honor it was for me to be able to spend the day with Mike & Colleen 

and their absolutely beautiful family to document their special day! 

There were so many times throughout the day when I found myself grinning 

at the beauty of the relationships that I was able to capture 

and as I've been processing their pictures I am reminded again and again 

of how beautiful love and families are!

This wedding was definitely the most fun wedding that I have ever been to!
They put so much thought and preparation in to their big day
to ensure that it was special and that their guests had a wonderful time!

By the end of the day, they were married, my memory cards were full
and even though I was exhausted and ready to fall into bed the second I got home,
I had such a wonderful time and I wouldn't have traded the day for anything!!
