A little about me:

My favorite color is pink. 

I'd rather have a rainy day than a sunny day. 

I love movie theater popcorn and my kitty, Rascal. 

I am a believer in families, no matter how they are made or what they are made of,

and I fall a little more in love with my husband every day!

Another thing about me is that I am PASSIONATE about Photography!

I am the kind of person who sees life through a lens, and often in black and white!! 

I have a very deep affection for my digital camera, and a very deep affection for my SLR. 

I LOVE working in Photoshop and I LOVE being in the darkroom and using an enlarger!
I draw so much energy from working with my clients and their families
and I love meeting new people and drawing them out so that I can capture their true essence.

I am a sucker for anything that might constitute a photo shoot 

and I've always got a camera available in case it's needed!!

Oh ... and on a more personal note:

People often ask me why my 'pen name' is Photography by Annie

when my real name is Clarissa - here's why:

My maternal grandfather was a fabulous photographer - he had a wonderful eye

and his pictures are in the homes of all of his family. My sweet grandpa

passed away when I was two years old, so I don't remember him well,

but before he passed away, he gave me the nickname 'Annie' (my middle name is Anne).

My 'pen name' is a tribute to my grandfather and to the wonderful man and artist

that he was - I like to think that my love of photography came from him!
