I remember well when this beautiful Senior was a beautiful baby!!

She is the little sister of one of my very best friends,

and now she is all grown up!!

It is always so fun for me to get Val in front of the camera!

She is a natural and she makes my job SO easy!!

She is a beautiful woman, inside and out, 

and I can't wait to see what she does with her life

as she finishes up High School and conquers the world!!

Cache Valley

My husband is training for an 'upgrade' at work!

When this 'upgrade' happens, 

we will be moving to a new city,

and starting a new life.

This 'upgrade' is schedule to happen, literally, any time now.

For the last few months, 

we have grown very nostalgic about our hometown.

We really do love Cache Valley

and our hope is that wherever we go,

we can find a city somewhat similar!!

In case that doesn't happen, 

we've been trying to capture the perfect picture

of our happy valley!!

So far, this is our favorite attempt:

Shooting the Moon

I can't believe that I've been so M.I.A.

I really thought that once school was out I'd be posting more frequently,

but apparently that is not the case!

It has been a VERY relaxing summer,

and while I have made great use of my lovely camera,

my posting has been dismal!!

At some point, I'll want to play catch up,

but for now, I'm just enjoying the time that I have to breathe!!

I'm back!! 

I survived the Semester, my final year, and the overall College experience!! 

(I posted about MY graduation here if you're interested in hearing all about it)!

Through all of my excitement, I also had a couple of friends who were graduating -

I was able to spend some time with Brian & Ashley (separate shoots)

to help them capture their exciting accomplishment as well!!

Spring Break, 1st Dam, My Parents

This last week has been Spring Break!

It has been a MUCH needed break full of resting, time with my husband,

our 12th Anniversary, NO studying, family, and wonderful weather!

I also got to spend some time with my parents at 1st Dam last week!

My mom wanted some pictures with my dad and his beard before he shaved it off,

so we took advantage of the gorgeous weather and got in a short shoot!!

 

Today is my last official day of Spring Break, so I'm just catching up on my blogging,

then I'm going to spend some time with my Nate before the next 6 weeks begins & takes over!!

Graduation, here I come!!

Well, he was here in January, but due to the craziness that has been this Semester,

Merry Christmas/Happy New Year/It's Here!!

 I had a WONDERFUL Christmas Break!!

I didn't have to crack open any school books,
I actually started - AND finished - 'Wicked' (which I LOVED),
and I feel relaxed and ready to go!!

I spent a lot of time with family! I ate a LOT of good food!
I slept in and stayed up late! I rang in the New Year with the love of my life and some of our BFF's!!

And now the break is over!!
Tomorrow I start my FINAL semester @ USU, and it is going to be a hairy one!
I hope to have some time through the next several months to pull out my camera
and relax with a photo shoot or two, but in case I don't,
now you have a reason for my absence!!

I meant for this post to be more entertaining and soul bearing,
but it's been a LONG day, so you just get my tired thoughts!!
