It's time!! The big day is here! 

Today I headed down to Bountiful to shoot the formal pics for these two (I'll post those later):

Which means what?

He has now seen her in her wedding dress, and I finally get to post these:

When Stephanie & I talked about doing her bridals, 

I remembered some photos that Nate & I took at Bear Lake 

during sunset a few years back and I couldn't get those images out of my head! 

As the day of the shoot got closer, we both got more and more excited! 

The day before the shoot, I was driving back from taking Nate to the airport, 

and as I passed Willard Bay I watched the sun set over the water!

 I got home, texted Stephanie, and changed the location of our shoot - and I am SO glad that I did!!

It was a beautiful evening and we seemed to hit the setting of the sun perfectly!

As we were heading to our final destination, we passed a hoard of fishermen! 

Stephanie mentioned how much Greg loves fishing and that she should have 

thought to brought a fishing pole with her! 

We found a nice man who understood our plight and he let us borrow his fishing pole for this shot:

I had such a great time shooting these photos and I'm so grateful 

that Stephanie is so relaxed and up for trying whatever crazy ideas happen to pop into my head - 

thanks Stephanie!!

Matt & Mikelle

A few Saturday's back, I spent the day in Salt Lake celebrating the marriage of Matt & Mikelle!!

They did hire an official photographer,

but I was happy to be there with my camera and try to get some shots in as well!!

Mikelle has a way with vintage! 

She can pull off any vintage outfit that is thrown her way, 

so when the engagement was announced, 

there was a TON of anticipation about her dress -

This is why:

She pulled off the vintage bride look flawlessly!

It was a beautiful day for a wedding at Temple Square 

and getting a few photos of the flowers was a must:

After spending some time at Temple Square, we headed to the reception 

 which was as gorgeous and wonderful as the rest of the wedding!

Such a beautiful couple deserves a beautiful life together! Congrats Matt & Mikelle!

Sunset Bridals at Willard Bay

So a few weeks back I headed to Willard Bay with Stephanie (see previous posts) 

to shoot some Bridals at Sunset! The weather was absolutely perfect, 

Stephanie looked absolutely beautiful, and we had an absolutely wonderful time!!

Greg, Stephanie's fiance, is currently in Mississippi and has requested 

that we wait to post any of the Bridals until after he gets to see her in her dress in person! 

This is a very logical and sweet request, but it is killing me 

because her pictures turned out so beautifully!

So, to fulfill my need to post at least one photo from the shoot, 

here is a picture of the beautiful sunset that we got to work with!!

Just a few more days until their big day - and then ... I'll get to post some Bridals!!

Omar's Special Day

Last weekend, this handsome dude got baptized!! 

His parents asked me to get a few photos of him - and of course I couldn't say no!! 

I absolutely love his handsome little suit!

It was fun for us to be there to support him and to share his big day with him!

Greg & Stephanie - Round 2

A few weeks ago, on a rare sunny day (lately) in Cache Valley, 

I re-convened with Greg & Stephanie to get a few more photos of them! 

On the day of our original shoot, it was freezing, snowing 

and poor Greg was not feeling all that well! 

I was happy to hear as we got together for this shoot that 

everyone was feeling well and to see the blue skies!

I absolutely LOVE shooting these two 

because their love for one another is completely obvious! 

They make being a photographer so easy 

because instead of telling them how to pose, 

I simply just observe and capture their natural joy, and I LOVE that!!

Thanks Greg & Stephanie! I'm looking forward to the wedding day!!
